The marriage proposal was apparently a rather romantic affair. On Christmas Eve, the couple watched a late-night movie together and then exchanged gifts: for him a framed photograph of their King Charles Spaniel, for her an engagement ring.
‘She burst into tears,’ he revealed on Twitter at the weekend. ‘This is the happiest Christmas in memory.’
Ugh. You'd think with all his money, he could at least have a weekly housekeeping staff and at least change the mattresses once a year.

It would just attract that many more -- they had a pretty nice allowance.
Even with the rules, they had free sex with celebrities, drugs, parties, and a chance at celebrity status - just what appealed to them in the first place.
What gets me, is these are young girls, they certainly have Mothers and Fathers.. How come the parents don't say something about their daughter dating and marrying a guy 60 years her senior? ugh.... other parents disappoint me of course, I guess if they are posing nude, they don't necessarily worry about embarrassing the parents LOL
I have a 22 year old daughter and even if she says a guy asked her on a date 10 years her senior, I have an issue with it...
I don't really feel sorry for them. They are only out to use him and him likewise. At least they weren't majorly abused in anyway. They pretty much are treated as a private brothel.

Alot of parents can't control the child once they reach 18. I've seen many parents that worry themselves silly about their children, only to watch them continuously ignore their wishes. At some point parents just wash their hands of their children and hope they return someday.
The playmates for the most part are no different than your average street prostitute.
They just happen to be the most attractive and thus are able to get the best deals while the least attractive are working the street.
So, they get thier shot at fame and fortune and all they have to do is show what a normal stripper does and put out for Hugh or some celebrities etc. Thier less attractive friends are stripping at Club Spankys and having sex with the guy that owns the local car dealership for some financial assistance.

It's all win-win for the girls - and Hefner. Also it doesn't seem they were ever held against their wills, anytime they didn't want the money they were free to leave.
What would they have expected? It's not as though Hefner ever hid his image, it's not as though they could have been so stupid as to think there wasn't sex and drugs involved.
In fact it sounds like the worst problem for this woman was the untrained dogs messing up the carpet, including her own. Or the butlers bringing them breakfast in bed and occasionally spilling on the carpet. So why didn't she get some carpet cleaner herself from the nice hefty allowance?
Ugh. I'm probably pretty old by this board's standards but Hefner even repelled me when he was in his prime. No condom with multiple partners? OMG!!! What are those young girls thinking? It's not the 70s when it was just the clap (mainly) or (Eww) crabs that you had to worry about, a lot of our modern STDs have lifelong consequences.
He reminds me of the whistling pervert on The Family Guy. All he needs is that walker and he's set. Now I think I need to vomit.
