Good point. Maybe we have a whole generation now of men and women who continue making mistakes because we are the generation who was never going to grow up.
I know there are many men who do the right thing. Maybe we just had a little influx of hot messes.
Yes, thank God there are real men among us who truly know how to make decisions with that head between their shoulders My husband and I worked hard to raise our boys to think this way too.
Both are guilty. It is something that has been going on for ages. Only now it is more readily known and sometimes permitted. But common sense is really uncommon.

Oh no I agree completely. Women do some crazy stuff as well.
In fact all in all you would probably find more threads from women about how crazy their lives are. That's why this little influx of posts from guys seemed so unusual.
But you addressed the thread to men. I do agree with you that the majority of threads on this forum really do seem to come from posters who are way out there for some reason and can't see woods for trees. So many get really good advice but slough it off and only answer other misfits who agree with them. There are many of us who've "been there and done that" and have wisdom to impart which might help but sometimes it seems we're beating a head against a brick wall. A sense of humor helps enormously. Cheers!
Well, if that's the case, then I'll be more than happy, because I wouldn't have to worry about marrying some psycho.
That definitely trumps wishing/hoping both genders were equally insane.
