Like Brittany Spears, Charlie Sheen is suffering some form of mental illness.
It's a shame the media continues to give him a forum to spout his crazy rantings.
I am sure his family is horrified and very afraid for him.
I caught a glimpse of an interview with him last night and quickly switched the channel. It was incoherent rambling of a sick person. He looked sickly, skinny and scary. The look in his eyes was crazy and it was just so hard to listen and watch. This man is sick and will not end well and all this is very shameful and pityful.
I just had to look it up. I didn't even know what he did.
And you know what? I still don't. It's all irrelevant celebrity stupidity. If he's got a substance-abuse problem, then lock him in a room with Drew Pinsky for a month and move on.
Perhaps due to Britney's age? I mean remember, Britney was what, 24-25 when she completely lost her mind? She was young and have made a lot of stupid choices AND was diagnosed with bipolar disorder that was caused by her drug usage. Media still made a spectacle out of her, but was more symphatetic towards her situation possibly because of her age.
I don't think Charlie Sheen is glorified. I think he is being mocked and ridiculed and laughed at.
I agree with MM on the sadness of this situation. The media is having a field day, and when we watch we are contributing to it. It is kind of like a car wreck. You ride by and look even though you don't really want to. I turned it off too. I will no longer watch it. The man's time on Earth is limited, if he doesn't get some help for himself.

I don't know of anyone who is glorifying Charlie, matter of fact it's the complete opposite. The more he speaks the more he is making a complete and utter a@@ of himself.
Maybe this is a dumb question, but where is his family? He has a famous dad and brother. Surely they have the means to cart him to a hospital before he kills himself.

Recently his dad gave an interview and expressed concern. He compared his addiction to cancer...saying, that Charlie is just really sick. I don't think though that at this point there is anything they can do. He is a grown man.
See, if he just stuck to banging porn stars, without the drug use! he would be doing just fine........
