Do you think a couple start to resemble one another after they get married?
For example, I met a couple who I thought were brothers and sisters at first and not a married couple.
Yeah i'm afraid to look into our family history we have had so many people say we look and act more like brother and sister, we've been married for 32 years and have always had people say that.
I have always believed that, but not for all couples.
I looked at an older picture of my dad and his wife of many years, they looked a lot alike, moreso than earlier in their marriage. Actually she looked more like him. (TG)
If you have to look at someone for a long time...it might be the reason.
So then I need to look in the mirror more often, and keep my good looks!!!!!
I also kinda believe that if you see something on someone that makes you go "eeeww", then watch out, you might catch it, so be nice!!!
Another big thing, similar to this, is the duly noted 'typecast.' A man I know who got three marriages under his belt, I discovered all of his wives were almost identical looking. Then there was the larger picture with extended family and it was also noted 3 generations of men - ALL had the exact same taste in women and they all seemed attracted to the same phycial attributs, all the way from the color of their hair to size and weight. It's quite eye opening when you really look at this stuff. A gentlemen I had been dating still had a picture of him ex girlfriend in his office, I saw it one day and other than wondering - WTH?! I noticed, even with any girl after we stopped seeing each other and those to follow -you could lay their photos end to end and they looked like they could be his sisters. It' was uncanny as well as annoying. Trouble is they never realize it.
