Unless you are allergic to dander, everyone should have a soft side for kittens.

I didn't know I did until I saw a cat look at me in the eyes. My face went from stern to "you're a kitty!!!" and I started to pet him.

Oh man. I just tasted a bite of my freshly shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano...and I don't think anything else will ever do again. Damn that is good stuff.

Does anyone else use the Redbox DVD kiosk machines?? I think they are great, way better than blockbuster. They got a couple in my local grocery store, pop in and pick up a movie for just a $1 a night. You can't beat it.

I've always crabbed and moaned about blockbusters business model. They charge you like 5.50 a movie, you get to keep a few days, but who gives a rip. I'd rather just keep it a night, save some money and be done with it.

The only disadvantage is the selection, they have a pretty good selection of first run DVD's but obviously they can't have everyone. I used them to supplement my Netflix, if I'm in between movies with netflix, and I feel like watching something, they really fit the bill for that.

Pleased as a pig in mud.

I do occasionally, when I don't have a netflix disk in. Problem with Redbox here is that about half the time, they don't have the movie I want...even when I did a search for it and the site said it was there.

I prefer freshly grated romano...but I know exactly what you are talking about.

That taste could never come from a plastic container with a shaker top!

I did the 30 day free trial for netflix on the internet....

Not worth it at all...there were no current movies.

I'm thinking I may shell out the extra $2 for the internet plus the DVD's by mail. I like to watch movies on the nights my husband is out playing hockey...I get to pick the titles with no "not another chick flick" comments...lol

Too true. Nothing like freshly grated parm-reggiano from a freshly-cracked wedge.

I suscribed to his newsletter for awhile and while I do agree with many of his philosophies I find the application of such is impractical for the average person, plus I grew tired of the "WOLF!" cry headlines of his newsletters.

No kidding. I can't believe that I used that green shaker can for so many years.

I heard that along with the roaches that stuff would survive a nuclear holocaust.
