I'm sorry no one ever taught you better than this - how sad

I do have some friends of the opposite sex and it's truly platonic. I know most of those guys since I was a young teenager and we had been there for each other. If there was any kind of attraction towards me, I never knew about it or felt it.

I've had female friends with no hanky panky.... Matter of fact, after getting to know some of them better... the thought of having sex with them seemed incredibly wrong.....

I was in a career-field for over 20 years where they only have males. I was not exposed to any females over over 7 months of each year during that period of time. The remained of the time was still pretty much focused on the career field and it was very difficult to include any females into my life [with the exception of going in to a bar].

There are segments of our culture that are not freely exposed to males and females.

It does not mean that they are not evolved.

Even if I did get older, my views would never change. I always assumed a female family member had a boyfriend, but she had a lot of male friends.

But opposite sex friendships is about taking a man's masculinity away from him.

No you haven't, you've claimed it's the case, you haven't explained how you've reached that conclusion.
