I was out earlier around 4 and went right under the VN Bridge. In 15 years, I have NEVER seen the bridge with only 3 vehicles on the upper level - not even right after 9/11. That was it - 3 trucks, 1 tractor/trailer, one large delivery type truck, and a large van. No one on the lower level, no one going the other direction - just 3 heading west. It was really eerie.
I'll bet.

We've been watching Mad Men. I'm in the mood for a Manhattan.
Not sure if what country I want to visit - maybe a little Russia with some vodka or south of the boarder with rum. I take pineapple sherbert and mix it up with rum in the blender. Got to suck it through a straw to get that quick effect.
Uh oh - tornadoes spotted in VA and SNJ (near Atlantic City). Fairfield is just a little north of me and somewhat inland. IIRC, you said they live in SNJ (south of exit 98) - they will NOT get home tonight - I hope they had plans to stay overnight somewhere. Amtrak and all public transit in NJ suspended. We still haven't gotten the main bands here yet. We are due east of Elizabeth NJ.

Oh wow, what you are describing sounds very eerie indeed. I have never seen or heard of VB so empty....
