Seems Irene is now beyond my area. We are pretty far inland (Raleigh) but we did get a lot of wind and rain...a few trees down, lots of branches but no major damage.
I've got a lot of yard work/clean up to do this week, but that's about it.

We are far enough on the outer band all we had was wind & clouds. Though is was neat watching the clouds speed by throughout the day.
I don't know what's wrong with me....somehow "wearing stuff out in the bathroom"...my brain doesn't want to use "cassette tape" for that train of thought.
I was just telling Chow, that didn't come out right.
I think I should live somewhere where there is storms and you have to stay home for a few days.
A good way to get hammered guilt free.........
.........and to lay around in your underwear. The downside is the weather folk will give a gloomy forecast and you think "I'll just lay around in my underwear and get hammered" only for the weather to be fantastic.
