We are far enough on the outer band all we had was wind & clouds. Though is was neat watching the clouds speed by throughout the day.

Glad you are safe! The storm has been much less intense than had been predicted - thank goodness!

Yes, nice to hear all of the good reports coming in.

WF, have you ever seen those videos of fast-motion coverage of a storm coming in? Covering a whole day in just a few minutes? Pretty impressive.

With the storm's path there were no worries here.

By the way, how's your son settling in? I saw Hurricane's room a while back. I told Chow, he's got a nice color scheme going on.

.........and to lay around in your underwear. The downside is the weather folk will give a gloomy forecast and you think "I'll just lay around in my underwear and get hammered" only for the weather to be fantastic.
