Nothing beats it except a outside fire, and a cooler of cold beer with it being 40 or 50 degrees outside. Tampa area has it get cold in the winter without having to deal with snow. maybe icy sometimes though. Plus it has everything Miami has like nice beaches but has a lot Miami doesn't like bunch of different events and music that caters to many styles and a lot of nice "more northern Florida feel" when it comes to forests and trees and more hills. Nice rivers from springs to float down in the summer time, nice lakes, nicer people over all. 20 miles east of the coast you would almost think you are in rural Tennessee the way it looks. And Tampa has a lot of night life action going on. The causeway between Tampa and St Pete is very similar to Biscayne bay.

Clearwater and Palm Harbor are examples of nice areas like that in the surrounding area..

I just heard on the radio Journey, Foreigner and Night Ranger are coming in concert. Seems like someone is always coming in concert around here. Like I said, Miami blows compared to Tampa.......

A few years ago Foreigner was at our county fair. Pretty sad... Not long ago, there was a concert, too. It's just that a concert sounds weird now after the fair...

We are visiting my friends and family in New York and it had been a fantastic trip so far...aside for the fact that we got robbed!

We stopped by the cemetery in Brooklyn to visit my mom's grave and when we returned we found the glass of the front passenger's seat completely broken into million pieces and they took the bag that was under the seat. Stupid me for leaving the bag there!!! Hopefully the stupid moron was disappointed by what he found in there once he opened it. Just a pair of size 5 shoes, few pairs of Max's underwear and shorts, my husband's sneakers and toothbrushes.

I lived in Brooklyn for 17 years and never got robbed, but I come visit for a week and this happens. I'm just grateful that I didn't leave anything valuable in the car.

Sifu-The cold doesn't bother me at all. I really thought it was going to but I loved it! Nothing beats a fire with hot chocholate and it snowing outside..
I'll have to send you my hot chocolate recipie since I won't be needing it when I get dragged over to hell's waiting room.
