Many can't be friends. I always find that sad. Where there was once love, is bad feelings. Some even approach hatred. I'm fortunate to not have been with someone that turned so psycho I'd end up hating them.

I just saw a really old movie with Cary Grant. I'd never actually seen him in a movie before. Such a sophisticated and elegant man! Why did they all die?! Btw, I just checked - he was 54 in this movie. I wonder if all those who don't want men over 40 would kick him out of bed...

There was a new male low in this movie (Indiscreet)! Usually married men would pretend to be single, but he was single pretending to be married! He just didn't want to ruin and end his relationships by explaining that he wasn't "the marrying type." Now, it's surprising that such a wonderful excuse has died, too! You'd think many dudes would love to use it nowadays as well.

I just don't get the exes as friends bit. Once you're my ex you are out of my life. It's much simpler that way and more respectful of any partners that come after.

I've seen this movie...loved it! He is definitely one of my favorite actors from the old screen.

We were talking about Indiscreet, which I mentioned above.

I just looked at his marital history - pretty rocky! I guess nobody can have such a man.

Long labor anyway, the birth was likley pretty quick

Was it their first? I did a 22 hour labor followed by a c-section with my first. It sucked...lol
