I want to see Jason Statham do the new, "dark" knight - he'd out-badass "Begins"s Christian Bale in one move ... of course, to get the full effect it would have to be X-rated for violence.

...snuff does that to a film.

If anyone here likes grindhouse style films (Machete, Planet Terror, Death Proof, really any over-the-top violent movie with cheesy lines and wacky plots/premises) then you MUST see Hobo With A Shotgun before you die. It is pure grindhouse excellence.

Damn - now all this talk about Bruce makes me want to take out my old-but-still-mint Hollywood-crafted anatomically-correct Batman suit in the style of artist Jim Lee of the "Hush" story arc, the slightly Steampunkish look coupled with an almost Tarzan-type animalistic portrayal, and ....

...

... I'm a geek, ain't I? That just struck me, here and now ...

*sigh*

I saw Machete on Cinemax last weekend.

The premise is promising ...

Just imagine the spin-offs you could have - Vagabond With A Chainsaw, Tramp With A Thermonuclear Device ... the merchandising, man, the MERCHANDISING ALONE will retire us within a year!!!

Default I know this belongs in the cooking forum....

I'm making my first ever curry dish tonight! I know curry dishes don't call for garlic, but it's in there. I sauteed some garlic in olive oil, added some onions, added parsley, oregano, a pinch of salt, and hot pepper (20 minutes). Then I added blue potatoes eta: I forgot to mention the tofu! a ton of tofu, and a ton of spicy curry and sauteed some more. Opened a can of coconut milk, put it in, and added more curry. Finally, I have it covered with rice. I've been tasting it through out and yum!

Um, this might sound a little sexual, but I want your curry!

Well, I wish I could pass some along to you because I made too much! eta: now I know why the rice is always served on the side. It sucks up all the yum milk. Next time, I won't put it in the pot. eta: you might change your mind because I just added that I put in tofu, a whole thing of tofu. That's my favorite in curry dishes.
