He was the one that called me in the first place and now I find it rude that he did not answer or even call back when I returned his call. What's up with that?
Is it possible that he had something come up that didn't allow him to return the call? How long afterward did you sit and stew in this? how long hqve you been waiting for a call back?

I wasn't sitting there waiting for a call back actually. I hadn't spoken to him in weeks and he called me, left a voice message and told me to call him. I did 30 mins later and no answer. A few days later, I called him again and no answer. I just think it's rude that he would call me and ask me to call him. Later when I see him around the neighborhood, he tells me he was too busy. I think he's just playing mind games. What a jerk. I will try to stay clear of him from now on.

Good for you. Blow him off. It's too bad that so many people are playing games and think that it looks like they have busy lives or are having too much fun to call someone back. It's ridiculous and childish. Next time, call someone once and if they don't call back, drop them and move to another person that's more mature.

I hate it when people do that. He is probably just miffed because he thinks you didn't pick up purposely. For some reason, people think that just because everyone has cell phones, that everyone should pick up their phones immediately after it rings. Once, I was driving and couldn't dig into my purse (on the floor) to get the phone inside of it. I later had a text message saying "I really wish you would pick up your phone!!". I called back when I stopped at a gas station, and it was a call for something that wasn't even that wasn't even important! Some people are just sick. If he is still blowing you off, forget about him, OP.

Sometimes, ladies, we'll call you whenever we have a little bit of time to spare, but then if you don't answer, we'll just find something else to do.
