I personally find night clubs to be a waste. I don't like being surrounded by drunk people and having to shout to have a conversation.

I agree. I think its a good place if you like to dance a lot but men have to pay and usually women don't.

I will admit I haven't been to a nightclub but everything I hear about them reminds me of high school dances. A bunch of douchebags, loud ****ty music or loud music I just don't like, major focus on dancing (which I am not good at), and a bunch of douchebags.

I'd rather go to a bar with a live rock band.

I haven't been to one in years! I prefer a ballroom setting than a club. Night joints are too loud and there's too many drunk PEOPLE! But, do guys go to clubs just to pick up women?

When I did went to one at that time, I just wanted to dance, I didn't give a thought about the guys there.

When I used to go clubbing in the past it was usually to see a specific DJ (didn't do cheesy top-40 clubs) or during a specific night (house, trance, whatever). I didn't like any guys approaching me and that usually wasn't an issue. It would happen from time to time, but it was easy to avoid.

Huh? The only times I have EVER not had to pay my way in a club, was on a "ladies night". That's it.

I like to go with a group of friends! And the idea isn't to meet guys - it's to enjoy each other.

I also like to go with a guy - on a date.
