One caller said she knew she'd married the wrong man the day after the wedding when he threw out all her thong underwear while she was out and replaced it with "granny panties" When the shocked wife asked why, he told her "you're my wife now, not some tramp"!!!!
Anyone want to share what event or occurance led to a light bulb moment that you'd picked the wrong spouse?
I knew I had married the wrong man when I came home and found that my husband had thrown out all my granny panties and replaced them with microthongs...
5 years in and the sad thing is that the marriage lasted another 18 years. I think it lasted that long because we had kids at that point--I was 31 and the baby clock was ticking and it didn't seem a good time to go find someone else. Maybe that wasn't a good idea but the kids are wonderful so I'm not sorry.
That's a great attitude to have
It must be really heartstopping and gut-wrenching to make that realization

If your kids are wonderful, well fed, well adjusted and didn't suffer for it than it should be worth it. If they would have been better off with a divorce than thats a different story.
I'm always fascinated when I hear people say they knew before or at the wedding.
Short of having an unplanned pregnancy and being too young and afraid to go it alone, I cannot image having gone thru with a wedding when I KNEW I was marrying the wrong person.
