Sol, this woman did not have your list of rules. By the way, people comfort one another, it's called being human. You don't have to be a therapist in order to be understanding and supportive.

None of us have your list of rules, we only learn about a new rule after you have another failed encounter.

Coming back to this thread this morning only to find pages of nonsensical drivel about a one minute telephone conversation was most disappointing. Thus far 2012 is not looking auspicious for Sol's chances and just a repetition of the same old with new rules being thrown in at the slightest provocation. Humdrum, humdrum!

Let's face it, Sol is NEVER going to get it. There's a defect in him and he doesn't think like most people.

No matter how much advice we give him, he just doesn't get it. Why don't you get together with KateCountry? She seems totally clueless and off too.

She always gets a basic note from me on her new threads but that's about it and it's a repetitive one at that. Hope springs eternal even where the obviously hopeless are concerned!

Hmmm....I think there's more then hopelessness in their cases. They lack the....I don't know what's the word but they lack something basic in all of us to comprehend emotions. TVSG more then Kate.

I tried to help Kate in the past but it's just a lost cause. I wish her well, though.

That is the most basic trait of sociopaths. The inability to feel compassion and remorse for others.

With all due respect, I don't think such a label applies to either TVSG or the other poster mentioned, not by a long chalk.
