There's this cute cashier. She works at a place I frequent, so she recognizes me/knows who I am and sometimes we make small talk.
Yes, I have a thing for her. But I doubt anything will ever happen between us. For all I know, she could be taken.
Anyway, I was watching a show recently and I noticed that I think one of the actresses looks like her. I used to watch this show a lot, but that was before I knew this cashier, so I guess I never put two and two together until I started watching the show again.
Would it come across as creepy if I told her she looks like one of the actresses on the show? I was thinking of saying something today, but I didn't. I thought it might come across as creepy that I was thinking of her when I was watching the show.

I don't find things like that creepy (as a matter of fact, few are really creepy and they don't happen often ), but you may shove your hoof in your mouth because the girl may not think this actress is attractive.
Just tell her you like her pants and would like her to accompany you as an advisor on your next trip shopping for girl pants!
Citadataguy You can say it. Or a simple "you know are beautiful" will work wonders. Say this smile and wink and walk away. She can either think that you are a weirdo or a very sweet guy. I personally like it.
If you're chatting and you can work in a "hey, has anyone ever told you you look like xyz?" then it probably wouldn't be creepy. Just make sure that the celebrity you're comparing her to is flattering. Most women would appreciate being told they look like Scarlett Johannsen, not so much Kathy Bates.
