If both are not living together. Lets say they are less then 30 or less minutes drive apart.

What if one or both live a very busy work life?

Good grief, it's not like there's a rule about this or something, lol.

You see them as often as you are able

MOST people in love want to be together as much as possible, maybe you didn't realize that?

As often as possible, but also note that absence makes the heart grow fonder. Probably best not to see them everyday.

You know the Sheikhs, they have five concubines, one per work day of the week. By the weekend, they get back to their wives

There is no given specific time. Its up to the couple and what works for them.

If you are not living together it is not really a SO relationship. Significant Other implies a bonded couple.

Pretty much depends on how you feel about the person. Are you dating exclusively? Then probably during the weekends, perhaps once or twice during the week.

But there is no right answer. How much do you want to see him/her? And the reverse? That is the real way to determine.

As often as possible. In today's crazy work world, probably not as often as you would like.

As much as you agree upon.

That will be different for everyone. You'd really need to ask this of the person you are dating.
