Yeah, with malpractice premiums and the amount of training schooling reputations and everything I highly doubt any doctor would ever stake their reputation and career on anything more than professionalism and friendly bedside manner.
I work with sexual assault victims and suspects. While you dont see doctors rampantly, I have seen a doctor suspect during my first year of doing this. Legtimate too. He is out of business now. Never say never. People that you think would NEVER do something, do it. There a couple of cases going on right now with suspects who hold 'sensitive' positions. And at least one definitely appears legit. The other im up in the air about.

When it comes to people..never say ..NEVER.
Of course, there are. There are exceptions to everything! Here we're discussing whether it's a COMMON experience, though.
A doctor is going to face some really serious charges and risk his or her career so I also would agree that it's relatively rare and often becomes a news story when it happens. I recall a dentist who would give his female patients so much medication that they would pass out during procedures and he would do some very inappropriate things while they were asleep. A few patients suspected what was going on and the police set up a video recorder in his office and actually had a female police officer go in for a procedure. He did the same thing with her which cost him his license and I think he also served time in prison.

Well, I'm sure there are plenty of cases that don't become news stories simply because the attraction and intentions are mutual (I'm not talking about creepy and criminal actions here; just suggestions). It's too bad people have to miss on so many because you don't know how they'd react. A normal person would just say "no, thanks," but there aren't too many of them around as it becomes quite obvious on Tropical Trouble's thread...
It's been my observation over the years that the male doctors are too busy screwing their office staff to have any energy left over for his patients. When my girlfriend married a doctor(she was his nurse and he was married when they met)she made sure all the girls in the office were overweight!

You remind me of a joke back home: What can you take off a naked nurse? The doctor.
I know sometimes jokes are funny because they have a ring of truth to them!
There always is!
