Love my doggie, but will stick with my DH...who brings me coffee in bed and trouble-shoots my computer and compliments me on my cooking. The dog? Not so much. He just wolfs down the food and looks for more--not one compliment--ever. One other favorite thing about my DH? No poop bags needed, and so far, he's not messed on the carpet.

Does this dog still give you unconditional love like a normal, non-talking one?

"Progress" will take care of it. Just look how many other things were socially unacceptable a few short years or decades ago...

Be in a relationship..... a dog is not even of the same genus as me, so there is no chance of intimacy w/o it being considered beastiality.

Ron....dude....REALLY?....REALLY? I'll take a relationship any day. I have two dogs and while I love them, I expect a conversation other than barking.

so, would you rather be with a talking dog or in a relationship?

this should be interesting........oh, explain why.

Ron,

Most men are already in relationships with talking dogs, but they don't want to admit it.
