We were just sitting at the dinner table discussing school with the kids.

The little ones are taking spanish so they are quizzing us on vocabulary.

So I taught them a word they will probably never forget (because I haven't!).

Azafata: Flight attendant (female)

You can't have a Fata-aza if you want to be an Azafata!
My teacher told me that 25yrs ago and I've never forgotten!

Got to love the toxic forum.

You know you've made it when you have haters.
Heard this from NASCAR drivers about being cheered or booed by fans: The worst reaction is none.

I took it for that long too...it was a college level class, Conversational Spanish.

I can understand when someone is speaking, but I can't recall vocabulary to speak it fluently myself. Use it or lose it.

I wished I took Spanish all 4 years of High school. I was one of the better students in the class. I was tutoring other students spanish we were studying lol.

I usually yank them from other forums. I've got members who are always on the hunt for funny stuff, too, and they've found some gems!

Where is Phil, anyway?

He popped in one day last week, tried to run away and I tripped him, then everyone scolded me.
Just was trying to get him to hang around a bit.

Well being insane might have something to do with it. Licking windows and eating boogers (her own and others) is another part of the equation.
