I also drank the stuff once in a while too.

What Crab said Chow, I swear that stuff is at least 103 octane. I couldn't stomach enough of it down to get to the point of it coming back up.

Are you my long lost child? We always tease the kids and tell them they have an older brother that we lost at the mall...never saw him again.

Ok, I need some help here. My chili taste blah. Not bad, but just blah. Which spices do you put in chili?

Chili powder, cumin, red pepper flake or cayenne (if you like it spicy) some onion powder and garlic.

Try the cumin though, a little at a time. I'm betting that's what you are missing.

Oh, and salt too...if you haven't added any. Same thing, a little at a time.

No red pepper or cayenne but I have the others, the recipe called for the onion and garlic powder and they are in there, not the cumin though, going to try some of that.

I know I got flak from my canned chili post...but since I think you're talking about a home made one, here's some tips: cumin, green pepper/Jalapenos, celery, few cloves of garlic, salt, fresh tomatoes bring the wonderful chili flavor to life. Don't use powder anything, and of course let's not forget...beef!
