How come women will listen to other women's problems but don't want to listen to guys' problems and then expect men to listen to their problems?

How come men always are expected to be strong and silent and never vent?

Because it comes across exactly how it is: weak and whiny.

Maybe you are not meeting the right women?

Women do not always want to hear about guy's problems. It does start to sound whiny. However, I know some women who listen and are helpful and supportive to my problems too, if I bring them up.

You're meeting the wrong women. Find one who isn't selfish and wrapped up in her own world.

Well could it sound whiny from the guy's perspective too?

Many of us men don't want to always hear about women's problems.

This isn't only about dating, just in general when dealing with interactions with women.

Why must men be the ones to always be a good listener.

Women listen to each other's problems but don't support men in general when males have problems.

Maybe this is a societal problem where we lend more support and programs for women.

But that's not the right way for a society to keep going.

Males need to vent in a healthy way. That's why I think so many men are in jail and prison in America.

What's the basis for these sweeping generalizations?

Dude you got it all wrong. You PRETEND to listen, while she goes on and on about her boss/best friend/mother/bad day at work/other mindless petty irrelevant crap...then she goes "oh wow we have such a great connection!! and you nod happily as she proceeds to give you the nookie.

Got it?
