I think the love you have for your Mom is different than the love for your SO.

With that being said... There is a difference being in love with and just loving someone.

Yeah, "I Love you" sounds more meaningful and "Love you" sounds half-a%)#

Yeah. 'I love you' is at a higher level than 'love you'.

I was in a relationship once where things started out really intense. Texting all day. Having passionate, insane sex all night. But as time went by and the initial adrenaline and endorphin rushes associated with lust or infatuation started to decrease with her, she started withdrawing and how she said 'I love you' was one of the early signs, and once again within the massive text onslaughts that I was use to getting.

Her texting cycle, from infatuation/lust phase to final devalue and discarding of the entity known as the Sky-0.

First two months:

'I love you soooooooo much!!' (multiple o' and exclamation marks at the end)

By month three:

'I love you so much.'

Month Four:

'I love you.'

Month Five

'Love you.'

Six month mark:

'Love u'

After six months:

'luv u'

'lv-u'

Then just a heart with the letter 'u' next to it.

Followed by the final discarding phase of no more texting. She didn't answer her phone anymore, etc.

And one night after weeks of not talking, when I couldn't sleep at 4am, I called her and she had the new guy answer the phone.

That dog in that video is probably long gone by now. To answer the OP question, there is no difference.

I prefer 'love ya'....but then again successful relationships seldom depend on an uptight level of
grammer when expressing affection.

"Love ya" is for the beginning part of rela, when one partner is afraid what the other person is going to think of the L bomb. Stupid LOL

Another mystery of life. Sitting around trying to make something out of nothing. Is there no wonder why relationships fail.

I am beginning to think most people don't want an actual relationship....they want an independently wealthy blow up sex doll that can be custom to ordered to fulfill their exact physical fetishes....

Not really. They just don't want some impossible to read, emotional psychopath who post garbage memes that say "it's not always about sex" um yesssss it is about sex if you are not giving it up. No one can play these stupid a$$ games about stuff. Do it if you want to succeed in the relationship, it's not hard to have sex!!!
