We're the only couple we know of that doesn't have a TV in their bedroom. We don't want it there, cause of the previous reasons that people that don't have TVs in their bedroom posted.

There could be a tv in the bed room.

But i'd be too busy doing other things than watching TV.

No TV in our bedroom for all the reasons others have suggested. We have also read that a tv in the bedroom cuts down on sex. Not wanting to be added to those statistics, we keep the TV out. If I was not married, I'd have one in there (and I admit that I miss it at times.)

A flat screen TV (that was not on) placed on the ceiling would make a cool mirror.

No. I don't believe in tv in the bedroom. I do, however, believe in tv in the bathroom. Don't have one there either...yet.

Yes, we have a television set in our bedroom. We also have a DVD/Blu-Ray player. And we watch nothing but films and vintage television shows on it.

it may work for you, but not for me. the TV in our bedroom is on as soon as we go into the bedroom and is not shut off until i leave the next morning(my wife leaves before me). it has ZERO affect on our sex life, we have sex at least 6 nights a week. If the TV hurts your sex life, then not having one would lead to neither of us ever sleeping.

When I need to drag a blanket down to the couch for a nap or so that I don't have to sleep in the flu room, I put on closed captioning, no volume.

Don't you think those late night tv commercials are designed to manipulate people who are falling asleep? I think it is straight up crazy to sleep with a tv on. A few times a year I fall asleep on my couch in front of the tv, usually on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Let me tell you, it does affect the way you dream. I see it that clearly, since I don't do it often.
