This is not really a serious philosophical thread, just more of a curiosity question.
We had a discussion in our office the other day (yes, when the season is slow, we communicate with each other a lot ) about having a TV in the bedroom. Out of all people in my office who are either married or in a living together situation, I ended up the only one who doesn't have a TV in the bedroom.
My husband doesn't want it there, he likes that it's always quite and dark in our bedroom with no TV noise or light inside. He feels that it's a more relaxing atmosphere, which is conducive to all other activities that he likes to do in that room. To me, it doesn't really matter one way or the other, although I did notice that without the television in the bedroom I have more peaceful sleep.
I have a TV in my bedroom, I like to fall asleep watching TV. My SO doesn't, for all the reasons your husband cites. When we move in together he doesn't want one, but will concede if it's important to me.
I think I'll go sans.... at least at first. I DO sleep very well at his house.
Used to but the flat screen died on us, so at the moment the answer is NO. We'll see what santa gifts me for christmas...ive been leaving clippings of the particular plasma screen i want for the bedroom around the house. Hope she is paying attention lol

Sleep experts report that if you want a better night's sleep you should never have a tv in your bedroom. Just FYI
