I'm 6'0 but prefer my man to be 5'10 to 6'2. I need to be able to look him in the eyes without feeling like a little kid. Not that height is a deal breaker, but like Djuna said, not every woman goes gaga over a tall man.

It seems to be an almost #1 or #2 in most surveys here but in actuality there is little evidence as most women end up with average height guys, even woman that place height at the top of there list. There are many woman I know that would be happy with a living, breathing, sane guy that had ok looks
Just beign tall doesnt get you women if you're ugly but as long as you are at least avergae looking its a huge plus..Male height is the #1 physical turn on/dealbreaker in the datign world
If you're a short men you pretty much have to be prefect in eveyr other way because women are looking for a reoasn to not date you..

That's only because men are still financially dominant. Should that change, you'll never see this scenario.
OP, height is just one factor. If the rest of you is a mess, or even just mediocre (average face, average body, average job, average personality, etc), you're not going to "clean up" in the dating department. Women want men with the total package (looks, money, personality, etc), or guys that have at least 2-3 great attributes, which is why only 20% of all men end up getting 80% of all women. The problem that most guy's have is that they have no truly great attributes (or maybe 1, if lucky) and that's why they don't do all that well with women.
If I were you, I'd take an honest evaluation of myself and see what can be improved upon because just being tall definitely won't get the job done.
Lately I've been reading up on American men's height. Only 5% of us are 6'2" or more. (I'm 6'5" myself) Why are most tall men I know single or have had very few gf's in thier lives? It just doesn't make sense. What's the story ladies?
It's better to be tall than short. For example, the rough equivalent of your height for a short man (standard deviations away from the average) would be 5'2". It's better to be 6'5" than 5'2". However, some women will not want men that are too tall. Basically, there's a lot of shallow women out there. Find one who is not. Yada, yada...
A tall man is 6' - 6'2 1/2. Taller and you are a hulking giant.
try cutting about two inches out of your shins and they will flock to you.
