Meh. Tornadoes everywhere.

Except for where I live. All we got was rain.

There's casualties and death's from these tornadoes though. That's terrible.

Would you like one?

Yeah, it's horrible. Every time I hear about all sorts of natural disasters everywhere, I grow some appreciation for AZ.

Always wanted to see one in person. I'm not going to go looking or one though.

This town has one recorded tornado in it's existence, and that was way way way back in like the 40s or later.

It's lke there's a bubble around this town. Everywhere was getting pummeled by tornados. The closest this town has come to getting a tornado was seeing a funnel cloud fly right over my head and dropping in the county below this.

Twice in the last year I've had tornadoes touch down less than three miles from where I was at in Louisville. One hit Churchill Downs head on and damaged some barns.

I'm moving back to the East Coast. I'll take my chances with the hurricanes and torrential flooding.

I'm friends with a military wife from Sierra Vista. She, as a fellow transplant, shares my bewilderment with the weather disasters in the Ohio Valley.

I'd rather deal with a tornado than a hurricane lol.

Hate to burst your bubble, we get them out here too.

Had one pass through last year...if you don't mind snow, you need to go to Western NY. It was rare to even have a thunderstorm up there.

It's a desert, it's already a disaster. Anything other severe weather is just insult to injury.
We were at a friend's house last Sunday waiting for the never-was-going-to-start-race to start, he was going back & forth between that and a golf tournament in Az. The pristine golf course was sooooo out of place against the wasteland back drop.
