At least you didn't buy Red. That's like a flag that says come get me officer, I'm speeding.

You are exactly right about that. I remember reading this book I think it was called "The Color Principle" and it said Red is the most likely car to be pulled over for speeding. Although I had a red Mazda RX7 and used to haul ass doing 90 across the country and never got pulled over. It also said that lights are backwards. That it's not uncommon for people to sit at a green light and go on a red because green is a cool color and calming and red is an energetic and aggressive color so they should have been the other way around.

The red is ticketed more thing is urban legend. Do a search looking for real numbers and data showing this and you wont find it. Actual numbers for red are within two percent of its per capita distribution which is considered below statistical significance. The most ticketed color is gray which accounts for 6 percent of all cars on the road but 10 percent of all speeding tickets. The least ticketed color is white which accounts for 24 percent of all cars on the road but only 19 percent of all speeding tickets.

Actually, the statistics are that grey cars get into the most accidents because people can't see them.

It crinkled up all the way to the windshield and stopped just before busting the glass.
At some point you should have let up off the gas.

The funny part of the whole thing is that I was only driving about 10 miles and hour. I purposefully got behind the bus to free up the other lane because I was looking for a business address. When I spotted it to my left I immediately heard the crunching of metal. The bus had stopped, but I didn't. I didn't see it coming I just turned my head back to forward and there was the bus almost to my face.

Hitting a bus is like.........well, hitting a bus.
I popped a Honda Accord in the rear from a dead stop in my work van.
Wrinkled the hell out of that Honda while the license plate bracket was the only damage to my van.
