I was on another message board where a discussion arose on guys who are in bars/clubs/social settings/whatever who were talking to girls & thinking that things were going well and then things sort of fell apart. The consensus among others was that they were being "creepy" without realizing it.
What are some things that guys do unknowingly that may be termed creepy? I'd like to hear from both guys & gals.
I think the best case scenario is when the guy is being himself and doesn't try to "act" like some kind of operator. Using pick up lines and talking dirty to total strangers is weird, imo. Before anyone jumps on me for that statement, keep in mind it is one person's opinion. He asked for opinions and I gave mine. I don't think I'm alone, however. If you don't like what I've said, ignore it, but please don't attack me because you disagree with me.
I rarely go to bars or pick up places but on the few times I have, none of the guys there actually seemed creepy to me.
What comes off as creepy to me is someone very touchy feely when we just met and when a guy mentions several times that he will take me to xxxx, then xxxx, and then xxxx. The joke is, the guys that have stated that they will take me to certain places either never call me or call me out of the blue thinking I'm interested.
