I have, when I knew the guy was interested but shy (and I was interested too).

I do too...I love the latest one where couples are jumping for each other and all mayhem is breaking loose around them and they don't notice at all...LOL. It's just cute, the way it's done.

i find excessively aggressive women w/o manners to be a big turnoff. u can accomplish the same task with a sense of grace and class if you have manners, most dont. bull in the china shop. a invitation to a church or other community event would be perfectly proper. we have lost so much as to manners in 40 years.

Default I've been asking guys out since 1968

Why do you think that this is some new phenomenon?

It may be 2012, but I prefer to be pursued than be the pursuer. It show's that he's genuinely interested in me and not just responding to an 'open invitation' as it were.

Largely because it is.....just judging from here, few women approach men, with most preferring to be pursued by guys.

Then you get what you get, not necessarily what you want.
Your choice, but don't you think that may limit you?

According to this consensus women still don't approach men generally speaking.

Happens all the time. In fact, it is becoming a problem because (i'm really shocked about this) for people that often do the accepting or rejecting, SOME women do not take too kindly to being rejected.
