I know plenty of awesome men and they are my best friends. I just didn't happen to end up with them. So, history might actually repeat itself. I was brought up surrounded by strong women that their only fault was to let their spouse treat them however he wanted. You did not ever get a divorce but stayed miserable until you died. Old school Catholic I know. I am not one.

As well, love can make people stupid. I behaved stupidly, but was NOT in any way stupid. And I quit acting that way and have taught my daughter what I never was taught.

ok, and? If you don't get it/me don't read. I respect your opinion but it's not going anywhere. Be glad you've had sheltered exposure since it's quite enviable, I'm sure, to a lot of women. Life is not all the same to everyone.
