Do you like reading romantic notes? Maybe texts, maybe a romantic phone calls from you SO? Not just a "I love you" message, but a description of what he wants to do to you when you get home. If you do, how in detail do you like them? something like "I'm going to blow you away tonight." or very detailed, from how and where he is kissing you, where it's going to happen, and how?
They can be great, if the woman does it right. Mine is pretty good about it. She sends most of her's over text messages late a night, that way I see them when I first wake up. They've ranged from purely romantic to very sexual in nature. It's pretty cool.

Well this woman I am with is exceptionally awesome (she'd have to be, or I would have never got this deep) and very caring and thoughtful. I make sure to reciprocate too. In fact, I think the point where this whole thing made the turn from "dating" to "serious relationship" was the time where she had a rather rough weekend and on the following Monday I woke up early and typed up a pretty long message to her on Facebook, telling her what she meant to me and how much I cared about her. After that, it progressed pretty quickly.
