I think there is nothing wrong with knowing what you want and admitting it......However, DO NOT EVER lead a woman on if she is thinking the fairy tale. Make your case totally known and often (since she will think she can change you). I totally respect honesty in anyone.
lol the ops question is like asking "is it nazism to like orange flowers?"
What the hell does one have to do with the other? ur doing society a favor by having one less bunch of kids to overcrowd the planet.
Alas, step outside the box. At least this person has the wherewithal to ask. At least he doesn't think he knows it all based of backasswards thinking. Nazi-orange flowers? Poor metaphor and totally missing the boat for even a stupid person.

How is that missing the boat? I take something completely off to show how completely off the op is. what metaphor would you rather use?
As a vocal childfree person with a nearly 30-year-old bouncing adult tubal...
"Selfish" should be purged from such discussions. People have kids for selfish reasons- "I want a little me" "I love babies" "I always thought I'd be a parent" etc. etc.
Some of us just. don't. wanna. The "reasons" come after "career/travel/sleep in/etc." If you don't wanna, you don't wanna.
I do think anyone, man or woman, who is sure should get the appropriate surgery. Then you can't string along some nice person with, "well, who knows, maybe someday." Also, assuming you're clear about not having children *no matter what*, it will be obvious to people you date. I do think a lot of men think they might have to have at least one child as the price of a wife (usually a second wife). If you really don't want to, you don't want to.
I was seeing a guy for about a year after I had my tubal. I'd been real clear with him right away about my feelings and surgery and was pretty clear that I didn't see him seriously. He started talking serious anyway, and when I reminded him I had surgery, he said, "Well, we could always adopt." NOT CLEAR ON THE CONCEPT
If you're sure (and I *always* was, and likely lost one grand guy over it) the surgery is "the lack of desire made flesh."
