Ok I will be the one to say it. Excluding the cream of the crop black men - wealthy athletes, businessmen, actors etc - the average black man who goes for white women date ugly, fat chicks. Lisa lampanelli's whole comedy schtick is based on this. You see black men with ugly white women all of the time. (excpet for the top alpha black men, they will only date hot chicks and can date whoever they want) Curiously, when you see a white man with a black women, she is going to be hot 90% of the time. Why is this? Status dating. This plays heavily in the world of white men/asian women too.
Eddie Griffin the comedian also touches on this very topic in his "You can tell them I said it " 2011 comedy special.

To answer the OP's question, I suppose I "bailed on my race" when I was around 8 years old and fell in love with Joey McIntyre from New Kids on the Block. From that point on, I found myself attracted to many men who weren't black, but rejection from black men had nothing to do with it.

Maybe the famous people, not the average everyday couples. I know more than a few BF/WM couples and I find them to be pretty close in looks. WM I work with has a black wife, both a little nerdy but middle of the road for looks. My rockin roll friend whose lanky has a black girlfriend whose also tall and lanky, also middle of the road. Mexican guy that hangs out at my favorite pub has a short rolly polly black girlfrind and he looks like Mario Lopez.
Most of the time, when i see an average black man with a white woman, she is a beast. Your anecdotal evidence does not invalidate.this.

If a white person - man or woman - is with a non-white person, they tend to 'date up' and the non-white person 'dates down.' Funnily enough, however, I've seen Asian males with attractive white females the most often though.

Yes, Joey was the youngest (around 17-18), so since I was 8, he was closest to my age. I thought Jordan was cute too, but my older cousin claimed him and we couldn't have the same favorite.
I've met them a few times in the past couple of years when they've been on tour and they're all nice guys and still quite attractive.

WRONG!! I can gurantee that when me and my co worker go out and meet white women, NONE of them are fat or ugly. And we're far from being rich or famous. Lol, another angry black women I see. Can't y'all come up with something better. I perefer the one excuse that black men have been brain washed by the media.
