I was reading abut this guy who has 30 kids by 11 differant girlfriends and although that may be thought of as bad planning on his part or a person that is in need of another hobby he and guys like him seem to be looked at more favorably than a guy that has multiple wives and children by those wives. I am in no way advocating either lifestyle as I think it is a labor of love keeping one woman happy. Still is it just me or does it seem like the baby daddy syndrome is more respected than the guy who is married to more than one woman? This weekend I happen to be flipping through the channels and saw a show called "Sister Wives". They seem to be living together and doing fine. What do you all think?

The dude with the 30 kids needs a new vocabulary item drilled into him.

It's V.A.S.E.C.T.O.M.Y.

Dunno, but in my view... both situations are outrageous. Then again, that's why it's on TV.

Among the more ignorant in our society is a common belief that "proof" of fertility (kids) is evidence of a man's worth and status.

For these guys the only thing they'll ever actually accomplish is impregnating woman.

It's a sad claim to fame that only the dregs of society would value.

Barely. Some of the moms get as little as $1.49 /month from him.

He lives in the Knoxville area, and was recently in court asking the state to give him a break on his child support payments as 50% of his income is divided by 11 women.

NFL player Antonio Cromartie is infamous for fathering 12 kids with 8 different women.

30 kids for anybody, under any circumstances, is way too many. I do think women have a harder time though with a man that has many ex-wives as opposed to baby mamas. I am not sure I can explain that other than the marriages are much more of a committment and he will more likely be having to deal with these ex wives more than if they were just ex-girlfriends. Ex-wives in a relationship can be very difficult.
