There was a girl I knew in high school. She sat next to me in Spanish class, but I was extremely shy and very lacking in self-confidence. I found her Facebook several years later, and she's since gotten married, but her husband looks like Tourette's Guy.

Wow, never knew you were in Metro Philadelphia. I always assumed you were somewhere in the middle, like where "Unstoppable" was filmed. Not because of anything you've ever written, but simply because you make your location so "generic."

At any rate, since I was the OP on this one, I showed this FB profile picture to my cousins in Europe, where I just spent three weeks. "Whaddya think?" They sort of curled their lip. They said that she looked boring. I said, well, she's a 3rd grade teacher. That helped even more. This is a girl who said I was weird as a way to "knock" my more sardonic and philosophical bent on life of which she is incapable. Processed!!!

I don't know about "processing" an old crush - but there was only 1 guy that I really wanted to date that I didn't after I was about 18 or so. He did kiss me - but it was on Valentine's Day and it was because I had said that I had never been kissed on Valentine's Day - even though I had had a boyfriend, we hadn't been in the same state on Valentine's Day. Anyway - this guy had a girlfriend at the time so dating was pretty much out of the question - although I'm not so sure he was interested in me anyway so it might not have made a difference. This was my senior year in college. Anyway - cut to about 4 years later in NYC - and we run into each other again! It's not that surprising considering that we are both performers but he did mostly straight theatre and I do musical theatre. Well, he recognized me before I recognized him. And even when I recognized him - I recognized him as a guy I went to college with - not the guy that I liked that I didn't go out with! It wasn't until after I had walked away that I realized that I used to have a crush on him! It felt good.

Nope not from the area of "Unstoppable" And Yes when you see who people are married to and you feel they aren't any thing great. It does make you think "Oh he/she wanted something (different)"

It happens.
