Elvis (singing):
"Return this blender,
Damn thing done broke,
Went to make a smoothie,
Then it went up in smoke."
Meh, black artists stole music from one another too. Elvis had real talent, not just anyone could have rose to superstardom back then. His material from the early 60's and on really captured the depth of his voice, especially the gospel songs.
The real ground breaker was the electric guitar
Quote:
Adolph Rickenbacker is the inventer of the first modern amplifiable electric guitar. It was a semi-hollow body guitar with sound holes. The first complete setup was in 1931, but it had all began in Los Angeles, California in the 1920s. Read Rickenbacker’s history.
The first solid body electric guitar was invented by Les Paul in 1941. It wasn’t a pretty sight like the Les Paul’s you see today, but it was still the first in it’s class. It was basically a solid square wooden body with 6 steel strings on a neck. In the 1950′s The Gibson company got together with Les Paul to present the Gibson Les Paul we all know today.
I'd like to know who figured out the 1st accordion.

Reading comprehension is fun-for-the-mental...I mean fundamental.
I said it's a good thing I didn't need corrective lenses because I'd be collecting them like I do shoes and purses. If I did need them, I'd have a collection of frames I'm sure.

You're gonna need to use the granny readers soon, so buckle up.....
Not too soon! I had my eyes checked a few months ago and my vision was still perfect! I hear 40 is the magic number though.
I just had my vision checked a day or two ago..... I have a mild/moderate prescription, though it hasn't changed in a long time. The doc said that as your eyes age, they basically aren't as "flexible" and can't focus as much......

Nah, the last thing you want is flex in the... er... never mind.
LOL...if it didn't flex, some things wouldn't...ummm, fit.
