My Dad was married 4 years the first time, and going on 47 the second time

Sometimes you just don't get it right in round one. However, if you find yourself working on marriage number five, you might want to take a good long look in the mirror

How about those of us that regret not getting married at 25. Is it too late?

Why? It is worth the wait. It is nothing to be rushed or forced.

Don't be looking for excuses.
There are plenty of excuses to do the wrong thing with many to support you .
A guy that is building a house ,isn't looking for ways to tear it down, he is looking for ways to reenforce it .

Anyone here have second Thoughts on there Marriage
I am sorry, I can only read this with the voice of Igor from Young Frankenstein:

"Where marriage? THERE marriage!"

ETA, aren't the root problems in your marriage the educational/intellectual differences? Perhaps if your wife saw you trying to improve yourself--taking classes, eating healthy, working out--she will regain some of her lost respect for you.
