you are always coming in the threads saying something positive. It is hilarious to me, personally.

that person could be like: My wife left me and slept with my brother. Now she's 3 months pregnant with his baby. I have no friends, etc. etc.

Ruth: Well you can help her and your brother raise the baby. It will be a rewarding experience. you have so much to offer that baby. Stay positive!

OK, I take it back. I hate your one-liners, forget about writing a book.

In life, attitude is everything.

Those that choose to see the glass half full instead of half empty have much richer lives.

Ruth must be very wealthy indeed

oh stop it ruth, I was kidding. There is another person like that Knight2000 or whatever. I don't know how people look at situations like that and say something 'good' about it

Some situations are truly bad. If someone should get out of a relationship, I've been known to tell them to move on. Like columnist Dan Savage says, DTMFA (Dump The Mother F**ker Already). Sometimes that's all you can do, and try to pick up the pieces of your life, and glue them back together.

Life. Nobody said it was a circus ride. Or maybe it's too much of a circus ride, maybe that's the problem. Thrills, spills, the Tunnel of Love with the surprise ride over Niagara Falls at the end....

yes I understand some situations are really serious and bad, but some of them I don't like when they talk about a bunch of B.S. "I been with this man 5 years! He cheats on me. What should I do?" Really?
you mention dan savage sometimes. i'm not familiar with him but i notice a few other people mention him too. is he on youtube? maybe i will check him out.

P.S. JetJockey I told you the wrong thread, it's this one. oops.
