Awww you sound so happy and you should be!!! Wave that "proud mama" flag high! You should be proud! Job well done lady, job well done. So happy for you. I am a newbie and do not know you all that well, but I am always happy to hear hard work pay off. Good for you and him! Congrats!
I am very happy! I imagine I won't stop talking about it for a while. It's one of those things that lends the happy tears to my face!!!!
This news does not surprise me....because he was raised by an excellent mother!
As a recent college graduate who had learning challenges and a father who was not the most supportive of higher education, college will be a lot of work for your son but that labor will be worth it the second he lays eyes on his diploma and knowing he worked hard and sacrificed for it and no one can take it away from him for life.
Congrats and best of everything to y'all!
Well congrats to YOU for a job well done!
My son kept a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and that was a true testament. I thought watching him walk across the stage and getting his diploma made me proud...
Then this. He will have it tough, it is going to be hard for him because his dad is going to be discouraging him. I will be there for him and lifting him up in prayer...
^^^^ I haven't been on CDF long either, to know you very well, but none-the-less....
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!! To him, of course, for all the time, effort, and years of hard work and dedication to his education....Remind him to remain dedicatated & focused & he will be able to accomplish ANYTHING his heart desires!!!!
CONGRATS 2 you as well....What a wonderful woman to be pro-active for the benefit of your children, that is what makes a great mama!!!! Despite the condecending comments from their father, you have stuck with it and remained focused on the best intrest of your kids....and it has paid off!! How exciting for our children to not only succeed, but to excel....Way To Go
**Always wonderful to hear good news on CD**
Well this is a great post. Thank you very much !!!! =)
Alexander will be only the second of very many grandchildren to go to college. One of my brothers sons went for a short period but then began a family.
He could have gone very far. I am proud of my nephew for the wonderful father and husband that he is....
I wish my parents could be here, I know they would be sooo proud of him!!!
