99% of the women profiles I read always states that she loves to go bowling. Are people saying this because it's the most HIP HOBBY? How come I never see anyone state they like SKEE BALL?

I doubt any of the women with online dating profiles is a serious bowler, but bowling is kind of a fun thing to do on a date. It's active and a little competitive, but most people aren't particularly good at it so it's still amusing. Plus, you can have a drink and some nachos and talk while you're bowling. It's not that much different than shooting pool, datewise.
Bowling is fun. Drinks, food and listen to music while playing a sport? I will take it!
