I will agree that it's the lying that bothers me, but I was mostly responding to the guy who said women and men can't be friends without an affair happening.
There is an exception to every rule but the exception doesn't make the rule. Sooner or later these two are going to start sneaking around on the OP and it's not because their looking for a Bowling partner.
The texting isnt the problem, but the lying is a major red flag to me. If she has lied to you multiple times about this, she will continue to lie to you about anything. Lack of trust on your part is a big issue as well, since there cant be a real relationship without trust, but i dont blame you, becasue its impossible to trust someone who constantly lies to you. If I were you , Id dump her like a bad habbit, and im the last person on CD to think that getting out of relationship is always the answer. In your case, i believe its clear. On another note, the last 4 or 5 women ive dated, have all lied to me on multiple occasions. I hate to generalize here, but they are only reinforcing the notion that a woman is never truly happy unless she can lie at least a little.

Are you lying to your SO about these male friends? Are you texting back and forth all day long and into the night while your SO is wondering what is so funny? Point being I doubt your situation is the same as what he's dealing with. My 2 copper.

youre right, but he doesnt trust her, becasue she is constantly lying to him. its impossible to trust someone who continues to betray your trust
