You would think, but they like the drama.

Bro, i'm mighty sorry to hear about the layoff.

Years ago i was a tire builder for Firestone, in California. The company decided to shut our plant down & move everything to Mexico. We were about 1700 employees total.

At that time we were fortunate there was a 'Trade Adjustment Act', in CA. We were allowed to go to college for two years, while receiving about 90% of our normal wages.

Best of luck to you Prince_Frog.

Prince Frog, sorry to hear of your news. The surprise layoffs are some of the most bitter pills to swallow. I was working at Circuit City when they did the 3000 person layoff in 07. Basically had everyone come in, told them they didnt have jobs escorted them out.

Not that this compares, but I just asked the girl I went out with on Saturday and really liked on a second date. Replies with she is going for someone else. Sigh, at least she was honest. Bummed but not totally lost. I'm thinking of asking out an old friend who I have always dug. Not like I have anything to lose.

Yeah. I remember that, too. i had a very nice lap top I bought from there at a fraction of the cost when they were closing. I felt terrible for the employees though.

The good thing, is I can have a drink as soon as I wake up lol.

I haven't done that, btw, it just hit me though.

Prince-sorry to hear of your layoff and hopefully you'll find something soon

This is highly entertaining to me: I don't understand why two ghetto punk ass string beans want to try a well built muscular woman?? I mean I squat 200lbs and curl 75lbs...I mean really?? They have to weigh about 20lbs less than me a piece..Plus I've taken Muay Thai..I guess cause it's Halloween and they want to feel all empowered or something...

200lb squatts are pretty good for women I think.

I remember a few years ago, back when I was heavily into weight lifting. I was squatting 700lbs as my max. Then I'd put the weights back, turn around to my spotter and tell jokes.

Why am I fantasizing about a woman who can squat two hundred pounds with her legs wrapped around me? It just came on me suddenly. Weird....
