Ah! She's a Londoner? Then what you need is someplace warm, with sun.
Here are some great places:
Rodney Bay in St. Lucia - Gorgeous, wonderful and sexy. The downside is, like a lot of the Caribbean, the locals assume you owe them money.
The Canary Islands - I'd recommend renting a private villa in Gran Canaria. You can wake up in the morning, see the sun coming up on perfect weather over the ocean, go swimming with dolphins and be back home in time for an afternoon nap and some afternoon delight. And by 'afternoon delight', I mean daytime lovemaking. The naughty kind, as Ron Burgundy would say.
Gibraltar - No worries about language. It's warm. It's gorgeous and if it's history you want, Gibraltar has plenty of that to help with soaking up the sun.
That's assuming she's a typical Londoner. We don't get sun most times.
