I typically hate these black-and-white questions, because they are usually stupid and false choices. I am married to a woman I love.
I chose Love over Money. I once dated the daughter of a coal multi-millionaire. She was okay, but certainly not worth putting up with her a-hole father at every Friday night dinner, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and God knows what else until the end of time. I'm pretty sure I would have ended up bashing his skull in with a five iron at whatever horrid country club he forced us to join. Meanwhile, my wife and I started out poor as church mice, worked hard, and have zero worries financially.
Easy. Take the money and tell whoever's offering me true love to paddle to hell in a slop bucket. As the poet says 'I don't need anybody tellin' me lies, no I don't want your diamond ring 'cause you ain't got my size.'
The one thing that always infuriated me about Good Will Hunting was the way he turned down a very lucrative job to go to California in hopes of reuniting with his ex. Use your considerable brain, you dolt!

No. It means you're a lazy kibbitzer who doesn't even have the nerve to play the game in the first place. I've watched a lot of football in my time, but I would never presume to stroll out onto the field and tell the coach and players what they're doing wrong.
Avoiding potential hurt and conflict so I have more time, energy and headspace for what I want to do in this life is lazy? Okay...

Because for someone who claims to be uninterested in the subject, you devote a lot of time in this forum. Most people not only have the guts to not only be in relationships but to succeed at them.
