How many times are you n your workplace and hear women making sexual comments about men and no one even blinks "oh he has such a nice butt" or "the ups guy could come home with me anyday", yet if it were men to make these exact comments, they would be sitting in their HR office for sexual harassment. This is why guys whpo are affraid to approach women, are such a laugher, becasue they dont realize that women they are approaching are not only more nervous and scared but also way more insecure.
In every sense? Are you kidding? This forum right here showcases how weak men can be. 95% of CD moron males have a collective IQ of 70 at the most (no longer a small lot on this forum). A group of unintelligent, talentless, skill-less fools.

It really depends on context.

We make jokes about both genders, equal opportunity. Also, we make fun of all ethnicities and religions (most people here are mixes).

When some black friends come over my SO will comment to them about how all the neighbors lock there doors when they see them (not true)..... I get jokes about being a mexican....

We are a thick skinned state when it comes to this.... and I suspect our group even more so.

But in context with us there is no harm.... and it gets funny as heck.

Some women, blacks, Jews, Mexicans, whatever are going to be insulted and some won't. It's telling about them as people and it's telling about the joke tellers as people.

This forum has convinced me that sexists and misogynists are as worthless as their rhetoric. They bring nothing to the table, but their stupidity.

Do you say things like, "You're worse than a Black, You're worse than a Mexican," etc., meant in a derogatory way as a put down, not as a joke? A put down was the context in the OP. "He's worse than a woman," was meant as a put down.

The person who made the insult was trying to impress, show off and put down the other male in the group by passively knocking the other male's masculinity. It was to demonstrate that he was manlier and more of a catch.

The woman probably saw it as insecure and pathetic as well as insulting to women.

You should never put down others to make yourself look better.

people need to grow thicker skin. if the woman was his girlfriend, i would say he should refrain from saying stuff like that. otherwise, who cares?
