What I miss most about having a girlfriend.. (dating, love, single)

1. Having someone to talk to about her day and my day.

I've been going on dates, have no problem "talking" to people on the dating sites and getting responses. However that's not what I'm talking about.

I miss having someone who knows my story, knows what I did today and who genuinely wants to know about how it went. I also miss knowing the same about someone..

Just typing out loud here..

I miss the person, but not the relationship in the form that it was. I miss the person though, I really do. His smile, his laugh..he seriously hates me now though. He did not handle the breakup well. Eh he is only human.

I miss the stability that comes with the belief that you have found the one. Imagining how your kids will look and behave ... Etc. All that fun pleasant stuff.

What I miss most is nurturing another person with my hugs, kisses, encouragement. Cooking for another, all that sweet stuff. Just experiencing the presence of being in the moment with someone else.

But I know that in time I will meet love again. Right now the timing is bad and it is just not something I am ready for.

I miss having someone hang my clothes, which is a dreaded task that I would pay for I'm cool with doing everything else.

On a more serious note, I miss eating and chatting with another person during mealtimes. I miss being held while sleeping.

Benefits of a relationship come with a price and emotional tag also.
