It's happened to me a few times. It's almost like magic...one day, boom! That person just appears differently to me all of a sudden. He becomes more handsome or in positive ways I've never seen him before. Of course right after the magic, I go back to "What did I ever see in him?" again. Thus, that saying, Love is blind.

I think for most people, it's impossible to fall for someone you don't have 'PHYSICAL' attraction to.
That "PHYSICAL" attraction can occur over time. It is completely possible to not be attracted, initially. Happens ALL the time.

If I don't find you physically attractive from the first time I see you, chances are its never going to happen

ya, it happened to me and then it fell apart really bad. I had thought my ex was ugly when I met him..not just a little unattractive, but UGLY. However, I did like that he had light skin, hardly any body hair naturally and light eyes, and always smelled really good. Other than that, he had a bull dog face (gross), beer gut cause he drank a lot (gross) and was short (I can get over that). Oh and he shaved his head bald (gross, I like a little bit of hair). he was just VERY persistent, even though I kept rejecting him indirectly and one time very directly, he assumed I was just aloof. He was always around if our friends got together, which was every weekend, always did nice little things for me and right when he was about to give up (about a month after I met him), I started to like him, he brought me flowers for V-day and then things happened. unfortunately, as much as he fought to have me, he didn't fight to keep me, and changed his mind when he came back from the easiest military deployment ever (Kuwait for 3 months and he was Air force) and all of a sudden he had no interest in the relationship. It ended and then became on/off for another 2 and half more years. He was an idiot and I hope I get the chance to tell him one day that I really do think he's ugly...inside and out (he was very insecure about his appearance). I'm not overly concerned with having that opportunity but it would be nice!

either way, I'm glad that madness is over and I have someone who is 110% sure about me now and is also 10 times more attractive, even though looks aren't everything and I was looking for an average guy, I still got a nice bonus. We met through match.com and he wants to submit our story to the site for a "success story". I think it'll be cool!
