What's with the ageism? I have cool friends from the age of 20 till about 38

He's a deep-water Duck. He needs intelligent, soulful partners who dive deeply and thoughtfully into the lake of life, and who share their discoveries with him.

I wouldn't call it ageism persay. Or maybe I would.

It's just that I grew up an only child, and my idea of a party was with a bunch of people in their 50s ruminating on the state of the economy and the corruption of so and so politician. Sure, I was friends with most of my grade, but I never really related to them very well, only taking away from high school about two close friends. Thus, I never grew to relate well to people my age. There's just not enough common ground or interests. That, and I don't really want to deal with the inevitable flakiness or emotional immaturity. I'm open to the idea in principle if I meet anybody who proves me wrong in my age range but I'm not banking on it.

Also ^ lol thanks Ruth. That sentence sort of sounds like a euphemism for something, but the sentiment is appreciated.

Except for this one time when I was walking near the river and this female duck was hurt and couldn't really fly, and male ducks would dive bomb on top of her and bang her.

I watched I admit. It was hilarious.

I don't but I'm sure it's possible especially if the goal is just hooking up. A gym membership is all needed to get a man some play, married maybe not but those women that put money first are usually alone anyways. I prefer free spirited women as opposed to women who put financiers over everything that's a great way to weed out gold diggers.
