The rest of your post is spot on, humans are not the only animal that enjoys sex for pleasure. There are well documented cases of masturbation among animals and other signs, that they do have sex for pleasure. The one example that stands out is dolphins using their blowholes for sexual pleasure.
If anyone goes to NYC, I recommend the Museum of Sex. There was a really interesting exhibit on sexual habits that we thought were human only, that were seen in the animals. Like being homosexual, kissing and a whole bunch of other stuff.
Finally an original topic! I do understand why women wouldn't like a small unit, its an integral part of giving a woman pleasure. Breasts aren't really the equivalent, they're not really integral to pleasure unless a man happens to only like big breasted women.
